WHAT WE ARE

Physical AI understands the real world, makes decisions, takes action and keeps learning.

Cameras and sensors perceive the real world, while Edge AI makes decisions at the point of operation. Those decisions drive drones, robots, vehicles and industrial equipment. Selected data is stored and learned from across distributed AI infrastructure and AIDC, and improved models are returned to the field.

STANDARD LINK is a Vertically Integrated Physical AI company that designs the eyes, brain, body, distributed processing and memory of AI as one system. Collaborative R&D, PoC, IP strategy, productization, operations and domestic and international commercialization form the cross-functional engine that turns this integration into deployable projects.

PHYSICAL AI ARCHITECTURE

See. Sense. Decide. Act. Learn.Build the full body of AI as one system.

AI cannot operate in the real world through software alone. Physical AI works only when sensor input quality, on-site Edge AI decisions, communications, robot and drone actions, data retention and model retraining are connected. Under a single design responsibility, we bring together our own technologies, group companies, strategic alliances, exclusive distribution rights and specialist expertise in Japan and overseas, integrating hardware and software without artificial boundaries.

ACROSS EVERY LAYERRESEARCH / IP / SOCIAL IMPLEMENTATION
  • Connect technologies through collaborative R&D
  • Validate feasibility through PoC
  • Protect the business through IP
  • Deploy as products and operational systems

START WITH THE FIELD ISSUE

Start with the operational problem, even if the technology has not been selected.

We examine what is happening on site, the available data, the installation environment and the business objective, then define the right technologies and implementation path.

01

AI cannot recognize the scene at night or in very low light

For low-light imaging, night monitoring, ports, factories, equipment and mobile systems, we can begin with cameras and HOLONIC Eyes and evaluate an on-site PoC.

02

Video and confidential data cannot be sent to the public cloud

We design closed-network environments, on-premises AI, private AI and edge inference around where data can be stored and processed.

03

An AI compute platform is needed at a factory or research site

We assess compact AI data centers, GPU infrastructure, phased deployment and distributed placement, starting at a scale suited to the use case and site conditions.

05

The AI initiative needs to start small

We consider evaluation, PoC, Edge AI, local LLMs and compact AIDC to define an initial configuration that is proportionate to the objective.

06

Drones and robots need eyes and an on-board brain

We jointly develop AI camera, Edge AI and autonomous or remote-operation configurations that enable mobile systems to perceive and decide in the field.

07 / MANUFACTURING

AI for manufacturing and factory operations

We assess visual inspection, equipment monitoring, skill transfer, closed-network AI and field-data use through PoC aligned with existing equipment and operations.

PHYSICAL AI STACK

Four technology domains that form Vertically Integrated Physical AI

These domains are not simply sold as separate offerings. We configure the eyes, brain, body and memory of AI as one system around each operational challenge.

AI Vision and Sensing

Starting with color night vision and AI cameras, we turn video and multiple sensor streams into high-quality AI input for understanding the field.

Edge AI and Private AI

Depending on the use case, we can configure VIA ARTiGO A5000, NVIDIA Jetson, local LLMs and generative AI, and jointly develop an AI platform that recognizes and decides at the edge or in a closed-network environment. We assess the path from PoC to operations in stages while reducing data transfer and latency.

AI Data Centers and Distributed AI Infrastructure

For research sites, factories, municipalities and closed-network environments, we assess AI compute infrastructure located close to operations, starting with a compact configuration and scaling in stages.

AIDC is not a prerequisite for every project. Depending on the objective, Edge AI or a local LLM may be sufficient.

RESEARCH, IP & SOCIAL IMPLEMENTATION

Move beyond research and implementation to build a sustainable business.

For each project, we bring together companies, universities, specialists and technology partners, progressing from collaborative R&D through PoC, IP strategy and productization. Depending on the R&D theme and delivery structure, we also assess potential alignment with public R&D programs and industry-academia-government collaboration.

SMALL START / MODULAR GROWTH

Start an AI data center with a 5-rack, 27kW configuration.

Rather than assuming a large facility from day one, begin with a compact research, PoC or enterprise AI platform and expand in stages as results, utilization and site conditions are verified.

Configuration, the definition of the stated power figure, GPU, cooling method, site conditions, delivery schedule and maintenance terms are confirmed for each project.

RESEARCH & EXPERT NETWORK

Bring the expertise of PhD-level specialists, researchers and engineers into R&D.

We connect expertise in AI and computer vision, mathematics and data science, advanced manufacturing, environment and agriculture, energy, law and IP, and international affairs and security according to each project. Beyond advisory input, we work with companies, universities, research institutions and technology partners from research-theme design through PoC, IP strategy, productization and real-world deployment.

We are building a structure that can address R&D and deployment challenges faced not only by companies, but also by universities, research institutions, municipalities and regional communities. Any specific collaboration or participation is subject to agreement among the parties involved.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Protect the Physical AI business through public IP and deliberate IP design.

Alongside collaborative R&D and PoC, we clarify market scope, data rights, implementation rights and licensing. Building on granted patents and published applications, we design an IP approach for each project that supports productization and deployment in Japan and overseas.

FAQ

Questions about collaborative R&D, PoC and compact AIDC

Even when key details remain open at the outset, we can begin by identifying the conditions that need to be verified.

Can we consult you before deciding how to implement AI?

Yes. We review the operational challenge, available data, installation environment and business objective, then assess the appropriate path across AI cameras, Edge AI, local LLMs, compact AIDC and collaborative R&D.

Can we discuss collaborative R&D with universities or specialists?

Depending on the challenge and research theme, we assess potential collaboration with internal and external specialists, universities, research institutions and technology partners. Participation in any specific project is subject to agreement among the parties involved.

Are you a grant-application agency?

No. Application filing is not our primary business. We design the R&D theme, delivery structure, PoC, IP strategy and commercialization plan, and consider the use of public R&D programs when the project aligns with their requirements. Funding approval is not guaranteed.

Can we start with a compact AI data center?

A public reference configuration uses a 20-foot container, 5 racks and a 27kW configuration. We review the use case, GPU, cooling, site, power conditions and maintenance requirements, then assess a phased deployment.
