1. User information collected and collection methods
User information means identifiers, service activity history and other information generated or stored in relation to a user or device and collected by the Company. Information may include profile and contact information, payment information, images, form submissions, information supplied through linked services, referrers, IP addresses, server logs, cookies and other identifiers, and location information collected with individual consent.
2. Purposes of use
Information is used to provide, maintain, protect and improve services; verify users and settings; process payments; measure traffic and behavior; deliver and evaluate advertising; respond to inquiries; address violations of terms; and notify users of changes.
3. Notice, consent and requests to stop use
Consent is obtained before collecting location information. Users may request suspension of collection or use through designated procedures, although some information is required to provide the service.
4. External transmission and information-collection modules
Partners may store cookies and use user information. Where information-collection modules are used, the provider, information items, method, purpose, third-party provision and privacy policy are handled as described by the applicable service.
5. Provision to third parties
Personal information is not provided to third parties without prior consent, except for necessary outsourcing, business succession, partner or module provision described in the policy, cooperation with public authorities, or cases permitted by law.
6. Security-control measures
The Company establishes policies and rules, assigns responsibility, trains personnel, controls physical access and media, and deploys technical protection against unauthorized access and malicious software.
7. Joint use
When personal information is jointly used, the items, participating parties, purposes and responsible controller are identified as required.
8. Disclosure
After confirming the identity of the requester, the Company discloses personal information without delay unless an exception under law applies. A fee of JPY 1,000 per request applies.
9. Correction, suspension and deletion
After identity verification and necessary investigation, the Company corrects inaccurate information or suspends use where required by law. Deletion requests are handled when the Company determines that it must respond. Statutory exceptions apply.
